“Get ready to smile until your face hurts. We have such a Laugh!” AD – Volunteer (Section Team)
If you can spare any time, and would like to be involved, whether its for 1 hour, or regularly, then come and volunteer with 1st Locksheath Scout Group. We are entirely run by volunteers, so we appreciate any time you can give!
We have a variety of roles and things we need help with:
- Help with a section meeting – once, occasionally, or every week
- Help us raise funds to do more exciting things
- Share an interesting hobby or job with some of our young people
- Do some “DIY” or gardening to help keep our Scout Hut nice!
- Help with an event
- Give administrative support as part of the trustee board
Our volunteers are all given training and support, receive some benefits and discounts, and we have our own social calendar as well!
