I’m on Holiday!
Hi All.
Gordon, the GLV here. As many of you know, I’m suffering from Arthritis in my knee, so while my family are out skiing – or possibly Ice skating? – I’m sat in my Sister-in-law’s spare bedroom, in Tartu, Estonia, working away at Scouting Admin. Today has mostly been a website day, but also checking in with some of the team, to make sure that the next batch of recruiting is under control, so that’s required a brief chat on WhatsApp with our lovely Treasurer, Lizzie, in her lunch break, after she emailed me with a problem seeing some files on the newly instigated SharePoint.
Then, having worked out what was going on for her, I had to email Clive, who’s one of our Cub leaders, but also an IT whiz. He was on a steam train in Yorkshire with his family, but will have a look at the issue when the kids have gone to bed.
So, aside from being an example post to set up what our future “News” section will look like, this is just to say thanks to all of our hard working volunteers, who never stop working away behind the scenes for the good of the group!
